Description
The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp (EYCC) was created by individuals who care deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life. The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN) of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission (FWC) and accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA).
EYCC is comprised of 252 acres and is surrounded by 60,000 acres of Everglades habitat. Our facility includes archery and shooting ranges; hiking trails; ponds for fishing; swimming and canoeing/kayaking, as well as air-conditioned cabins and dining hall. All programs at the EYCC are educational and focus on the Everglades ecosystems with a goal to instill awareness and appreciation of the natural world.
