Friends of the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

The mission of the Friends is to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the natural history and environment of South Florida, the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge and the entire Everglades system.

The Arthur R. Marshall National Wildlife Refuge preserves a portion of the once vast northern Everglades. It provides habitat and protection for endangered wildlife such as the snail kite and the wood stork and the formerly endangered American alligator.
