Delray Beach Chorale – now in its 37th year of choral performance – invites the community to kick off the holiday season with its festive concert A Holiday Celebration - Sing a Joyful Song.
Event Details
In tribute to Leonard Bernstein's Centennial is an exhilarating performance of his Chichester Psalms. This holiday program also features revered seasonal works including Camille Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio with string quartet and organ, and Johann Adolf Hasse’s Laudate Coeli Dominium with 9-piece orchestra and organ.
Conducted by Dr. Patricia P. Fleitas, D.M.A., both pieces will be performed by Delray Beach Chorale's Chamber Ensemble, highlighting our Young Artists and Artists in Residence. The full chorale will close the evening with a magnificent choral cantata by Felix Mendelssohn performed with full 17-piece orchestra.
