4th of July is a holiday filled with great spirit. Many will flock to fireworks shows and patriotic displays, things that West Palm Beach has in abundance. There are several waterfront shows that have been dazzling crowds for years. Here is our list of the best July 4th events and fireworks in West Palm Beach.
The West Palm Beach Waterfront hosts South Florida's largest free Independence Day party. The event runs from 5-10 p.m. and features musical performances on three different stages and a military honor ceremony.
Kids will also get into the fun with larger-than-life version of games like Human Football, Jenga and Pong and an air-conditioned arcade. The evening concludes with a fantastic 18-minute fireworks display.
Royal Palm Beach rings in the 4th with their Star Spangled Spectacular. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. at Commons Park and they include a kids fun zone, gourmet truck expo, and live music.
There will also be cornhole, bass fishing, volleyball and golf tournaments throughout the day. The Zambelli International Fireworks Show begins at 9 p.m.
Wellington 4th of July Celebration
Wellington has a whole day of activities planned that kick off with a patriotic pool party at the Wellington Aquatics Center from 12-5 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m. Village Park hosts the evening proceedings.
There will be live music, food trucks, inflatable obstacle courses and much more. The fireworks show ends the night at 9:15 p.m.
Delray 4th of July Celebration
Head down to A1A and Atlantic Avenue to be at the epicenter of Delray Beach's 4th of July Celebration. Come out during the day to take advantage of family activities like the Remax Splash Zone and the Kid's Corner.
There are also fun things for the adults to do, headlined by the Beer Garden. At 9 p.m., the fireworks launch from the North end of the beach.
